Use of cookies

In order to make the visit to our website appealing and to enable usage of certain functions, we use cookies on our website.

Cookies are small text files used by websites to make the user experience more efficient. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses.

Description and scope of data processing

On the one hand we use temporary cookies which are deleted automatically when you close your browser, and on the other so-called “persistent” (permanent) cookies, the expiry of which is set for a date in the future for your convenience. Cookies may be provided by us or by third-party providers. The data collected from users in this way is pseudonymised. Therefore, assignment of the data to the requesting user is no longer possible. The data is not stored together with users’ other personal data. It is important to distinguish between essential cookies, which are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website, and cookies that require consent, e.g. for statistics and marketing.

Technically necessary cookies enable basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website and the necessary storage of the consent status for the use of cookies requiring consent. Here, no consent is required on the part of the visitor. The website cannot function as intended without these cookies. We currently only use cookies that are not subject to consent and are absolutely necessary.

Legal Basis for data processing

The legal basis for the processing of personal data using technically necessary cookies is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) or Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with legal obligations). The legal basis for the use of cookies requiring consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO in conjunction with. §25 TTDSG.

Purpose of data processing

The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to enable the use of websites for users by providing certain functions. For example, it is necessary for the browser to be recognized even after a page change and for the consent management service to retain the settings made by the visitor regarding consent to the use of cookies. We have a legitimate interest in data processing for these purposes in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the use of cookies not requiring consent.

Duration of storage

Cookies are stored on the user’s computer, which transmits them to our website. “Session cookies” are automatically deleted after the end of your website visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until the specified storage time, which may vary, has expired or you delete them.

Right to object and right to rectification

As a user, you have full control over the use of cookies. Through the application integrated into our website, you can change their consent status at any time.
